Our Recreation Center and Staff offer plenty of activities to keep you busy! Located next to the outdoor pool, the Recreation Center is filled with arcade games, a ping-pong table, a pool table, air hockey, and so much more. Every week guests can also choose from a variety of organized activities that take place here. Some activities include, but are not limited to:
Ceramics-learn how to paint ceramics-choose from a variety of ceramics and paints. Sun-Catchers-Let the sun shine through your painted souvenir at home. There are many designs to choose from. Tye-Dye Tuesday- The whole resort gets in on this. Our staff will show off tye-dyes that we have created while you create one of your own. T-shirts are available from a child's XS to an adult 3X. Towels and socks are also available. Show your creativity! Pool-side Bingo-Fun for all ages. Join by the pool and purchase your bingo card. Root beer Floats- Getting a bit thirsty lounging by the pool? This is the perfect treat. A nice mix of vanilla ice cream floating in a nice glass of root beer. Always refreshing.

Area Attractions for Summer
Bushkill Falls Miles of hiking trails winding around several beautiful waterfalls. The "Niagra Falls" of Pennsylvania.
Camel Beach Located approximately 45 minutes from Tanglwood, Camel Beach is fun for the whole family. Spend the whole day riding on the waterslides and enjoying fun in the sun!
Carousel Water and Fun Park The whole family will enjoy the water slides, go-cart tracks, batting cages, mini golf and more!
Claws-N-Paws Adults and children alike will have a great time here. Open through the summer, they feature many animal shows. Feed the giraffe or walk through the petting zoo.
Costa's Family Fun Park Fun for all ages featuring a kiddie play land, batting cages, go-carts, delicious food, fantastic ice cream, and a brand new miniature golf course.
Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area The ridges and river valley contain streams, waterfalls, geologic features, a diversity of plants and wildlife, and traces of past occupants and cultures. Popular activities include canoeing, rafting, fishing, picnicking and camping.
Palmyra Township Public Beach This is the only public beach on Lake Wallenpaupack is open daily (weather permitting) Memorial day thru Labor Day weekend. Admission is $3.00. Children under 10 $1.00, Seniors (65+) and infants are complimentary . Located approximately 1/2 mile from the intersection of Route 507 and Route 6 heading West. Activities: Swimming and picnicking.
Promised Land Lake Beach There are two sand beaches that are open from late May to mid-September, 8a.m. to sunset. The main beach is in the picnic area. The Pickerel Point Main Beach is on the end of Pickerel Point. Activities: Biking, Boat Launches, Boat Rentals, Camping, Canoeing, Kayaking, and Rafting, Fishing, Hiking, Picnicking, Riding Trails, Swimming.
Triple W Riding Stables Not follow the leader riding unlimited trails over a couple hundred acres, stream, beaver dam, lakes, woods, fields and more. Triple W Riding Stables provides all guests of Tanglwood with a discount.

Wallenpaupack Boat Tours Enjoy a breath-taking hour-long cruise on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack as your tour guide describes the area and the history behind this charming lake region.
Sunset Cruise - sponsored by A&D Marina Enjoy a 2 hour sunset cruise every Monday & Wednesday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Lake Wallenpaupack. More information available at the Tanglwood Resort Office.
Public Boat Launch Public access area located at Mangans Cove off Rt. 590 in Hawley. There is no charge to launch your boat. Trailer parking available at Resort.
**Fishing is open to the public everywhere on Lake Wallenpaupack. A valid PA fishing license is required by state law for anyone over the age of 16. Temporary licenses are available in the area.**

Stourbridge Line Rail Excursions Ride on the historical railways through the birthplace of the American Railroad. The Stourbridge Line Excursions are fun for the whole family.
